To serve Birmingham’s underserved communities with dignity, clear dental-health education and compassionate general dental care; help people understand their treatment and payment options; and work with community partners to reduce barriers to healthier smiles, with a special commitment to families, older adults and veterans.
Service begins with understanding.
Our practice serves a Birmingham community that includes people with limited incomes and people who have faced barriers to dental care. Cost, uncertainty about benefits and difficulty navigating services can make it harder to seek care.
We aim to meet people with respect, explain their choices clearly and bring practical oral-health education beyond the office through The Floss Boss.

Equip everyday prevention
Explore providing suitable toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss and educational materials for a defined community activity.
Connect at community events
Discuss educational talks and coordinated outreach with senior centers, faith communities, schools and neighborhood organizations. Events are subject to planning and approval.
Support veterans and older adults
Help make accurate dental-care and community-resource information easier to find, with attention to referral and benefit requirements.
Help bring animation to life
Explore support for the planned family-friendly YouTube animated series. The series is in development; release dates and distribution are not yet confirmed.
Propose a practical resource
Bring an idea that addresses a community need, such as education, navigation or event logistics. We will discuss scope, feasibility and responsibilities together.
Who should connect with us?
Senior-focused healthcare organizations, community nonprofits, employers, financial institutions, oral-care suppliers, local businesses and civic groups are welcome to start a conversation.
Organizations interested in serving underserved communities can discuss a defined educational or community initiative with the team. Partnership proposals are reviewed individually; no sponsorship package guarantees patient referrals, enrollment, clinical services or sales.
A thoughtful partnership process.
- Start with the need. Tell us about your organization, the people you hope to serve and your proposed contribution.
- Define the activity. Agree on the audience, educational purpose, budget or in-kind support, timing and responsibilities.
- Set clear expectations. Confirm any permitted recognition, permissions and reporting in writing before an activity is announced.
- Review what happened. Where appropriate, summarize activities and aggregate participation without disclosing private patient information.
Support does not influence clinical decisions or require patients to select a sponsor’s services. Patient information is not provided to sponsors, and sponsor messages remain separate from clinical guidance.
